Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Monica Vieth moved to Jacksonville in 2014. She completed her undergraduate education at Nova Southeastern University on a full scholarship as a NCAA Division II collegiate tennis player. Her athletic discipline translates into meticulous care for her patients’ eye health.
In 2018, Dr. Vieth graduated with her Doctorate in Optometry from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her professional focus includes managing myopia, dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, and comprehensive management of various eye diseases. Dr. Vieth is passionate about utilizing the latest advancements in optometry to enhance her patients' quality of life through improved vision and eye health.
Dr. Vieth is excited about positively impacting the Visionary Eye Care community in St. Augustine and is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients. Her approach to eye care is characterized by a commitment to providing personalized, informed, and compassionate service.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Vieth enjoys family life with her husband Felipe, originally from Chile, and their two young children, Mia and Mackson. The family often travels, embracing opportunities to connect with relatives abroad. Dr. Vieth stays active by running and playing tennis and cherishes quiet moments spent reading or planning her next travel adventure.
